to join our Consumer Web Platform team. Team develops and enhances the
ecommerce backend for Consumer group. The platform caters to millions of customers
ranging from home users, to OEMs.
This position is for a
Software QA Engineer for the McAfee Consumer Web Platform Team and will be
responsible for quality assurance of various projects executed by the team for
Sustenance projects. Candidate should have experience in designing test scenarios
for high availability web applications. Should have good knowledge of ASP.NET
programming and SQL. Will work with the team to develop tools or applications
that reduce testing efforts of the team.

Key
Responsibilities:
· This position is
critical in delivering high quality projects on time.
· Responsible and
accountable for deliverables and quality of product.
· Review business
requirements, technical specifications, and design documents, and provide
feedback.
· Build strong
relationships DEV team to understand implementation details and efforts on
quality.
· Adhere to all quality
standards from QA perspective.
· Able to independently
come up with test cases based on the analysis of functionality.
· Review code released by
DEV Team.
· Develop .Net/C#
application/tools that will help in testing of the project.
Qualifications:
Required Experience/Skills
& Education:
· 2 to 3 years of QA
experience in web testing and ecommerce domain.
· Bachelor’s Degree in
computer science engineering or related field.
· Very good in testing
techniques & methodologies.
· Good understanding of
Testcase and Test Plan preparation.
· Must have good
understanding of debugging and troubleshooting.
· Should have good
knowledge of ASP.NET.
· Should have good
knowledge of SQL.
· Has basic networking and
systems (OS) knowledge
· Has basic web security
knowledge
· Preferred: Experience in
developing script based automation.
