Commerce is looking for talented Java Testers to join our organization at IDC
(Hyderabad) location.
As
an integral member of Oracle Commerce development team, candidate will be
responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining our automated testing
solutions.
Job
Description:
Responsibilities:
Develop
functional and regression automated test solutions using JUnit, Selenium, QTP
or other reliable open source tools.
Develop
and maintain automation suite throughout the entire product life cycle.
Diagnose
problems reported as part of the automated test execution and report bugs or
enhancements to development.
Coordinate
with QA Leads during automation scoping to ensure that the test cases are well
designed and automatable to ensure maximum coverage is attained through
automation.
Actively
communicate test progress, results and other relevant information to project
stakeholders.
Flexible
enough in taking up any technical task related to automation and perform
necessary coordination with corresponding teams in accomplishing the task.
Actively
participate in all automation framework and process enhancement discussions and
provide necessary recommendations.
Assess
any technical and process issues identified as part of the automation effort
and escalate it to management with necessary resolution to resolve the issue.
Work
and coordinate with HQ team.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s
degree in computer science engineering or relevant field.
Minimum
4 years of hands-on quality assurance and test automation experience.
Must
be proficient in Java programming with at least two years of solid Java
development experience
Working
knowledge on Selenium, a plus
Minimum
2 years of experience in automating a multi-tier web based application built in
Java/J2EE, Flex Technologies.
Good
understanding of Web based service-level interaction.
Proven
experience in designing and maintainingautomated scripts with Ant.
Proven
experience in evaluating test processesand procedures, and experience making
recommendations for improvement.
Proficient
in Linux/Unix and Windows operatingsystems.
Good
understanding of SQL.
Good
understanding of software configuration management.
Scrum/Agile
working experience is a plus.
Ability
to review and perform analysis on system specifications and correctly interpret
business and technical rules and identify any gaps.
Ability
to evaluate test processes and procedures and make recommendations for
improvement.
Knowledge
on Continuous Integration Systems like Crucible, Bamboo etc.
Must
have excellent communication skills
