Job
Description:
In
L3 Support role, s/he will be responsible for providing level-3 technical
support to product customer base. S/He will be expected to work closely with
level-2 support team and customers to understand the issues, do detailed
debugging and suggest work around to get the customer up and running. S/He will
be expected to investigate failures, develop fixes/patches, testing and
releasing of the patch to the customers. # Education - Minimum B Tech/BE/MCA in
Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute #
Technical Skills requirement - Strong system programming skills in C, C++ and
shell scripting - Strong AIX and Linux system programming including kernel
development - OS internals including multithreading, RPC, socket programming. -
Strong expertise in debugging tools such as Crash, gdb, kdb, dbx, log analysis
- Strong problem solving skills - User level experience with any(RCS,CMVC,
clearcase or equivalent) Source code control systems and any Defect Tracking system
- Good skills on unit testing - Good understanding of Software development
lifecycle and methodology ( Waterfall or Agile) * 2 - 3 years of experience
required
